A Veterinary Nurse trainee will gain the skills and knowledge to be able to supervise supervise staff and maintain a clinic’s level of quality and performance. Once qualified, it will be expected that the employee will be able make management decisions and identify and interpret vital signs of animals.

Duties performed by an Veterinary Nurse include:

• Performing standard nursing procedures in preparation for operations
• Providing care to animals specific to the species
• Coordinating the timing and staff in theatre routines.
