Position Description
Our client is an Australian owned company located in the eastern suburbs that specialises in the design, manufacture, maintenance and support of electronic warfare (EW) products, radar, antenna and radio communications systems used by the Royal Australian Navy and other Australian Defence customers.
Your duties will include:
- Install and modify electronic equipment following technical manuals or technician`s instructions
- Testing and repairing electronic equipment in a workshop environment
- Site installation and defect rectification work on board naval vessels and at various defence establishments around Australia

What you need to succeed
- Previous work experience in electrical or electronic is an advantage
- Current drivers' licence (preferable but not a necessity)
- Understanding written technical information and instructions
- A Higher School certificate or equivalent.
- General computer skills.
- A willingness to learn new skills and attend tertiary training.
- Initiative and be self-motivated to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Due to the nature of employment only Australian citizens will be considered and a national police check will be required
Please note this is an entry level position.
