Position Description
My employer has been in the meat business for almost 40 years. They are passionate about organic produce, offer superior customer service, consistent quality products and value for money. They are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Butcher.
You will work closely with his team to learn all aspects of the successful operation of a butcher shop and:
Provide exceptional service to valued customers
Undertake general duties assigned by Butcher
Cut, trim and shape standard cuts of meat to size
Assemble and operate mincers, grinders, mixers, patty-forming or sausage forming machines
You will have the following attributes:
Excellent customer service skills
Be well-presented and reliable
Have a positive attitude
Ability to take direction and follow instructions
Ability to work on your own or in teams
Some prior experience desirable but not essential.
