A truly amazing opportunity has arisen for a 1st Year or a 2nd Year Apprentice Chef to be a part a professional dynamic team at a large Hotel establishment located right in the heart of Brisbane City.
You will report directly to the Executive Chef.
You will have the golden opportunity to learn a A la Carte, Room Service, Functions and Buffet Service and Conferencing spaces in their newly outfitted restaurant outlets. This Employer wants someone who can diversify, from Breakfast to Lunch and Dinner,
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Prepare Mis-en place as required
Prepare and present menu items
Learn stock rotation - the importance of minimising wastage
Safety and Cleaning duties
You will become familiar with all areas within the kitchen, their functionality and be willing to be involved in food preparation and presentation.
Naturally all duties will be imparted under the supervision of fully qualified staff on site.
This large Hotel is open 24 hours a day therefore work shifts will vary accordingly.
The right attitude is paramount in this trade. The Employer is willing to look at a !st Year Apprentice if you have proven work history in the food industry. This role will also suit a 2nd year Chef looking to complete their trade.
