Based south of the river in Cockburn, our client is a glazing company with a team of over 30 years experience in the glass industry. They provide 24/7 emergency glass repair and installation services to the Perth metropolitan and surrounding areas.
They now have an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic and keen individual to launch into a new and rewarding career in glazing.
What you will be doing:
You will receive on the job and RTO training and complete a Certificate III level qualification in Glass and Glazing. This apprenticeship will give you the knowledge and skills to work effectively in the construction industry, fabricating and installing residential and commercial glazing, preparing and installing mirrors, shower screens, and splash backs, working with architectural and structural glazing, measuring, calculating the right amount of materials for the job, and workplace health and safety.

This trade opportunity is suited to someone practical who enjoys working with their hands and attention to detail. Applicants should be physically fit with stamina to meet the manual handling component of the job.
The successful candidate will be punctual, reliable, and able to follow company policy and procedures for both OH&S and all other work processes along with being able to work collaboratively in a team environment. A current drivers licence is preferred.
As in any role, the candidate is expected to be able to demonstrate efficiency, initiative and enterprise, to grow to be a valuable member of the business team.
