Position Description
Located in Welshpool, our client is a dangerous goods tank maintenance specialist, that has a highly skilled team working in all tank, vessel and pipeline related cleaning, degassing, coded fabrication inspection, maintenance and repairs throughout WA. They already have a successful apprenticeship program, currently supporting 3 apprenticeships to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in heavy duty fabrication.
They are currently seeking a 1st year Apprentice Boiler Maker/Fabricator to join this team. The successful candidate will learn to weld to a high standard and contribute to the team. While the apprenticeship is for welding, there is considerable scope to learn all facets of tank repair and maintenance.
The successful candidates will possess:
- A strong work ethic and be highly motivated
- Have good communication skills
- Aptitude for problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail with a strong sense of pride in workmanship
- Ideally, previous work experience/exposure to welding, preferably a pre-apprenticeship.
