Are you fascinated about how things are put together or ever wanted how different machines work? Do you find yourself spending time in the shed, pulling things a part like to see how they work? If you have a natural eye for detail and are good with your hands, becoming a Mechanical Fitter apprentice could be for you!
Undertaking this Four-year apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Mechanical Fitter and earn your Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade.
You will develop the skills to perform repairs and maintenance on gas manufacturing and gas cylinder filling equipment. You will use a range of tools and engineering techniques to maintain and repair mechanical plant machinery and equipment to operational standards.
This position is located in Wetherill Park and you will be hosted with BOC, Australia and New Zealands largest gas solutions company.

WHO SHOULD APPLY
Were looking for motivated candidates who are committed to developing their mechanical trade career through the completion of an apprenticeship. You will take pride in completing all tasks accurately and to a high standard, as well as having an aptitude for mathematics. You will have a passion for mechanical work, an enthusiasm to learn and be willing to go the extra mile to impress.
Drivers license and car
Have a minimum of Year 10 schooling
Be comfortable to perform physical work in sometimes demanding conditions
