Position Description

Based in Wangara, this close-knit team with a strong focus on safety and production, are seeking an apprentice in Telecommunications. Due to expansion, they are now seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the team as an Apprentice Telecommunications Technician. Ideally you will have prior construction experience or a Certificate 2 in Data and Voice Communications.

You will be expected to assist with:
oNBN and network operations
oInstalling pits
oTerminating of cables
oGeneral manual labour tasks including trenching and cable hauling
The successful candidate will have the following:
oAn interest in Telecommunications and construction
oAttention to detail and good hand tool skills
oNeeds to have good mathematic skills
oMust be reliable and enthusiastic
oHave a white card, police clearance
oHave a manual driver's licence and own transport
oBe reliable and punctual
oHappy to work in outdoors - rain, hail or shine and enjoys physical labour

Candidates will be asked to complete Drug and Alcohol testing as part of the recruitment process.
