We are seeking a pastry chef apprentice to join an employer based on the Gold Coast. This is a full-time role as the business operates Mon-Sun, must be available to work public holidays and weekends.
To be considered for this role:
You must have a passion for desserts/pastries/cakes etc.
Attention to detail.
Take instruction with a positive can-do attitude.
Reliable to work weekends/public holidays and extended hours when required.
Excellent communication with internal and external staff/customers.
Thrive in a fast paced kitchen and be able to handle multiple tasks.
Time management and organisational skills.
Work autonomously and in a team.
Comply with health and safety, company standards and workplace health and safety act regulations.
Driver's license essential.
The successful applicant will be commencing in January 2021.
You will be completing a Certificate III in Cake and Pastry and must be eligible to complete an apprenticeship. Must meet eligibility criteria.
