About Us
IAC Acoustics (Australia) Pty Ltd is a global industrial acoustics company with 5 manufacturing plants around the world. We provide total custom made solutions from the primary stage of design to the final stage of site installation.

IAC Australia manufactures, supplies and installs a variety of acoustic products and solutions across Australia and the South-Pacific region.

Our projects range from acoustic doors and windows, sound proof rooms, vent silencers, audiology booths and rooms, and mobile equipment, and we have a strong market presence in the following industries:
Power, oil and gas;
Mining and Marine equipment;
Power generation;
Commercial Construction;
Anechoic chambers, test facilities, hearing and sound booths and chambers.

About the Role
The Apprentice will report directly to the Factory Supervisor of IAC Acoustics, and will have the opportunity to learn about:
Working in a workshop environment;
Working with sheet metals;
Using power tools, machinery and equipment;
Learn about our leading Acoustic materials and products.

This role will be a full time position from Monday to Friday, beginning at 7:00am with a standard 3:30pm finish time. The apprentice will be expected to attend TAFE to complete their theory component on one day per week.

The rate of pay will be in accordance with the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award, and will increase based on age and stage of apprenticeship.

About You
Ideally we are looking for an applicant who has completed year 12 and has demonstrated interest in the trade.

It would be beneficial if the applicant has a current first aid certificate, and / or experience in tech drawing and / or metal work.
