This Employer is offering 1 structural landscaping opportunity, for you to complete your Certificate III in Landscape Construction - AHC30916.
This is a Part-time position with the potential to go Full-time. It will be commencing in Mid to Late August.
As an apprentice, you will undertake a variety of duties, which may include:
building landscape features with concrete, timber, brick, stone and metal
Constructing concrete sleeper retaining wall
installing irrigation and drainage
construction of fencing
Operating specialised machinery and equipment.
setting out hard-scape & soft-scape landscaping works
Employer is looking for applicants who:-
Are clean, tidy, responsible and honest
Have a good level of communication skills, as you may be in residential homes
Having a Manual Drivers Licence and your own car is a MUST due to the location
Able to reverse a trail or willingness to learn ASAP
Have a white card
Willingness to learn the trade
Have some existing knowledge and skill in this industry - but this is not essential
You must be work fit, have a great attitude and not be afraid of hard work.
You must be able to work in a team, and work independently
Live in or near Kelvin Grove as that is were the main shed is located
Take instruction, carry it out and ask if ever uncertain
General tool use and knowledge
Prepared to travel to different locations for different projects (generally 30 minutes radius from City)
