A qualification as a Blow Moulding Operator will provide the skills and knowledge needed make a range of hollow moulded products, from tiny pill bottles to 200 litre drums.  These products are used as containers for household cleaners, motor oil, drinks, and other food items.

Duties performed by a Blow Moulding Operator may include:

• Setting up and operating machinery to mould plastic products according to need
• Using a knife or bandsaw, removes product from mould once completed and trims off any excess materials.
• Recycling trimmings and excess for future products
• Maintaining and repairing machinery used for blown moulding process
