A qualification as a Concreter  provides the skills and knowledge needed to mix, pour and lay concrete for commercial and residential structures.

Duties performed by a Frontline Management worker may include:

• Mixing ingredients to make concrete on a worksite and adding colouring agents when required
• Pouring concrete into framework and spreading and levelling the concrete to create a level mix
• Creating different textures on the surface of the concrete by tamping, smoothing and shaping the concrete before it dries
• Cutting joints into hardened concrete
• Operate machinery used to float, trowel and polish concrete.
