A qualification as an Extrusion Technician will provides skills and knowledge needed to maintain a working environment where machinery used to produce a wide variety of plastic pipes and profiles in a continuous non-stop process.

Duties performed by an Extrusion Technician may include:

• Monitoring product quality
• Operating machinery and equipment related to the process
• Checking machinery to confirm that it is working within requirements such as temperature and speed
• Identifying areas of improvement within the process
• Performing maintenance and repairs when needed
