When undertaking a traineeship as a Dietary Aide, you will be supervised performing your responsibilities within a hospital or health care facility environment.

Duties performed by a Dietary Aide include:

• Preparing food to specific requirements
• Being responsible for the distribution, collating and collecting menus for patients
• Maintaining records of the meal contents and status of individual patients
• Implementing the modifications of a patient’s diet for nutritional and therapeutic reasons.
