An Information Digital Media and Technology qualification provides the foundation skills and knowledge to use information and communications technology (ICT) in any industry and to assist in determining problems and finding solutions in relation to it’s use.

The duties performed by an Information digital Media and Technology worker may include:

• Providing telephone, face-to-face and online support to customers who are experiencing difficulties
• Downloading and installing appropriate software
• Connecting users to networks and providing training in the use of new systems, software and hardware
• Identifying and implementing the correct software or resource related to specific problems or needs
