A qualification as an Injection Moulding Operator provides skill and knowledge related to producing plastic products by injecting moulds with material using specialised equipment. The products produced include a wide variety of products including jars, wheelie bins, chairs, TV cabinets, and a wide range of industrial parts such as electrical housing.

Duties performed by an Injection Moulding operator may include:

• Loading raw materials into machinery
• Operating injection moulding machinery, adhering to safety requirements
• Performing quality control on products
• Removing wrinkles and trapped air that can be found in rolled up products
• Sandblasting non-rubber surfaces
