The information specified on the Job Profile page defines and categorises the position.

At the very least, you should define the Industry Category and the Industry Subcategory, so that you job will be pulled up in the relevant searches.

Whatever the job, it will have an associated Qualification and if you aren’t sure what that might be, it will be well worth finding out. The information provided on these pages should help you understand what the options are.

More often, there will be more than one Job Role that is trained for within a given Qualification, so once a Qualification is chosen, you can select a specific Job Role.

If both the Qualification and Job Role are specified, you can then get useful information about the Qualification and Role on the Sample Description page, so if you are using these pages to get an understanding of what it is is you are offering (from an Apprenticeship or Traineeship standpoint), try a few different options until you find a Qualification and Role that matches.
