An apprenticeship is the time spent learning a skilled trade under a qualified trades-person. It’s a great way to learn practical skills while earning money and gaining a nationally-recognised qualification.
There are hundreds of different apprenticeship trades to choose from – including construction, mechanic, carpentry, plumber, hairdresser, chef, electrician and many more!
You can start an apprenticeship while still at school, once you have left school, or as a mature age person wanting to upskill or change careers.
