A qualification in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing will allow trainees to gain employment within the industry.

Duties performed by a Pharmaceutical Manufacturer include:

• Review the production schedule, assessing specifications, calculating requirements, assembling and weighing materials and supplies
• Prepare equipment including servicing and cleaning, operator inspections and preventive maintenance checks
• Operate and monitor equipment, observe varying conditions, adjust equipment controls, calculate concentrations, dilutions, and yields, adhere to aseptic filtering and filing procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to a high standard of manufacturing practices and operating procedures, comply with legal regulations and monitoring
• Maintain equipment using operational instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns and calling for repairs
• Complete all necessary documentation including completing forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment and batches.
