A qualification as a Rotational Moulding Operator provides the skills and knowledge needed to competently use specifically designed rotational moulding machines which are used to create large hollow plastic products, such as rainwater tanks.

Duties performed by Rotational Moulding Operator apprentice may include:

• Operating rotational moulding machinery and equipment used within the process
• Testing the quality of the product and ensuring that product requirements are being met
• Maintaining machinery and performing repairs when needed
• Cutting off excess materials and finishing product
