The Gateway services are a crucial element to the new AASN contract to target the right people commencing the right apprenticeship, with the goal of increasing retention and completion rates, benefiting the apprentice, the employer and the economy.
Gateway Services offers advice and information on all aspects of career options, suitable and relevant pathways and longer term outcomes. Gateway Services can assist in ensuring best practice workplace behaviours to ensure better understanding of employee and apprentice expectations.

Brendan McConnell approached UMR Engines looking for an apprenticeship as an automotive mechanic. Although he had no previous industry experience, after taking the Harrison Career Assessment UMR Engines were willing to give him a chance.
