Harrison Career Assessment is a powerful online tool, built on research specifically related to job performance. The assessment provides a career development guide and career comparison report that identifies the greatest strengths rated according to job satisfaction and enjoyment.

The Harrison Assessment will take your answers and compare them to the criteria of hundreds of job titles, including over 500 Australian apprenticeships and traineeships.

There is no time limit, but it will generally take about 20–40 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

You may not have even heard of some of these job choices before, but now you’ll be able to find out more about them with this opportunity.

When you are ready to take the questionnaire, here are some tips:

• Just be yourself – there are no right or wrong answers.
• Think about what you like to do most – not just in class, but in other parts of your life, such as sports, what you do for fun and your outside interests.
• Fill out the whole questionnaire at one time and without any input from others. Input from other people may affect the results negatively.
• Make sure you don’t do anything else when you take it. That means no phone, texting, surfing, and note-taking. Just focus and get through it.
• Statements in the questionnaire may be repeated. This can be irritating, but it is done for good reason and ensures consistency; if you are inconsistent, the system will not score your results and you will be instructed to take it again.
• If you repeat the assessment you will discover the questions are randomised to maintain the integrity and validity of the assessment tool.

Cognisess Career Assessment Tool

Cognisess Career Assessment Tool combines fun games and questionnaires to provide you with a career profile that includes insights into the types of roles that suit your personality, preferences and skills. Developed in the UK by a team of psychologists, neuro scientists and data experts, Cognisess will provide you with an uncanny insight into yourself!

There is no cost to register and for a full profile, all games will take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete. You do not need to complete these all at once but will require a quiet place and a computer with sound for the best results.
