Resume Templates
Apprenticeship Central has supplied a number of creative templates to individualise your built resume. To use a template for your resume, simply select the template of your choice as the last step of the builder process.
Once the Resume has been generated, you will find it in the Current Resumes list named something like: –
Joe Bloggs Resume.pdf
You can re-generate your Resume with a different template as often as you like.
The Plain Template
We have recently added a “plain” template option that has very little formatting at all. The intent is that the HTML file created by this template, can be opened in Microsoft Word (or the text editor of your choice) and further edited until complete. The finished Resume can be “Saved As …” a Word document or PDF and uploaded to the site.
When you generate a Resume using the Plain Template option, a different file is created – named something like: –
Joe Bloggs Resume.html
You will need to download this file to your computer and then open it from within Word (just double-clicking the file will open it in your default browser) and then you can edit/save it from there.
