Employees with a Switch Gear and Control Gear qualification are responsible for constructing, assembling and wiring switchboards and control panels using drawings, diagrams, schedules and manuals. Other responsibilities include:

• Fabricating electrotechnology components
• Solving problems in extra-low voltage single path circuits
• Assembling and connecting communication frames and cabinets
• Repairing mechanical components of electrical machines
