They may also perform the following tasks:

•Replacing watch batteries and capacitors

•Performing minor repairs to watch parts.

•Testing watches for water resistance to agreed depths and Australian standards

•Removing watch and clock mechanisms from cases and examining them for signs of wear or damage

•Repairing or replacing faulty parts
